All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

This little dog was one sorry case when we saw him in the shelter.. his eyes were sealed shut and he had missing hair from flea allergies.  He is blind and his nails were over 4 inches long... he couldn't even walk right due to the nails.  We just could not leave him there in obvious pain, so we grabbed him and took immediately to vet.  He was treated and  we continued to work on rehabbing him to be able to enjoy life ..... and lo and behold... the little guy started playing with a toy.  He's very sweet and we are glad to see him out of pain and misery. Now he needs the right forever home. He is a loving little dog and very grateful for any help he gets to feel better. It has been wonderful to see this abandoned dog discover the happier world open out in front of him.
A NOTE FROM HIS FOSTER:

" He is blind but sees light and darkness.  He amazes me.  He knows my house as if he can see.  He needs alot of guidance when it comes to coming in and out.   He walks in our fenced in area along the fence to guide him.  He loves the outdoors.  His nose guides him.  He is a toy hoarder but he can always find his favorite toy.

His eye meds are extremely important. Some days I  put more meds in then others. Depends on the dryness in his eyes everyday.  His eyes get infected really easy, so daily care is very important.

With all this snow I have not been letting him out so he has been using the puppy pad ... he does really well on it."

Please be aware that Casey is on medication for his eyes that can cost about $100 every three months . If you are interested in Casey, please contact:
