All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Sweet, tiny Fudgie. Her young life didn't start out so great, but things are looking up for her now. She's an great lap sitter and loves to hang out with her person.    

Here's a note from her Foster:

A lap sitter she is and oh does she love it!    
She gets along fine with other dogs but would prefer humans over anything else. 
She will not be a dog to go running or hiking with.   She does play well with the other
dogs and loves to be outside in the sun.  She also loves to cover herself up at night in
her bed.   what a delight Fudgie is. She integrated into our multi dog pack w/o an issue. Wrestles and plays w/ our senior and handicapped dogs, gently and appropriately. Jumps up to lick our 100lb Rottix's nose ...  Loves to cuddle or will settle onto a comfy bed or couch if a lap is not available. Puts herself to bed at night in anticipation of her treat filled Kong. Greets Winky, our RORR alumn/adoptee, with nose kisses when he runs to her crate to say "Mornin'! She loves her Kong and her meals. She loves to run and play on our fenced 3 acres. What a great, diminutive, low maintenance companion she would be. Loves everyone she meets.
She is ready for adoption and looking for that forever home.  

She is housetrained but has not been around cats yet.

She has hip and knee displasia, but she is in not pain and gets along well just a bit of weakness in her back legs. She would be great for an older person who just wants someone to sit on their lap.  She is like Velcro - she wants to be glued to you. She does not have to be with other dogs.  Just happy to be with her human companion.   She has a wiry chocolate coat and is a LOW SHEDDER.
