Libby Lab needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping her get a new start?

All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Sweet, loving, and outgoing, hoping for a safe place, where there is food in her bowl, a soft place to rest, a lovng hand to pet her, nice walks. Libby has been abandoned, simply because she was aging. She still knows how to play and enjoy life. She likes to snuggle , enjoy the sun on her back, and be the good dog she has been all her life. She would love to find someone she could trust not to throw her away because she walks a little slower and is fond of naps. She would give you all her grateful heart if you could provide her simple needs.  Think of her walking next to you, or lying near your chair in the backyard, enjoying the day with you. To see her is to feel what true love really looks like in the real world. You could be a part of it all!

She is very affectionate, well behaved, good with other animals. She does not care for  puppies or actively playing dogs...and needs help getting onto a high bed but she is very sweet, stays close even off leash, and is a joy She would be great with older kids, adults could leave her home alone and she'd be fine.
