Please Note: This animal is listed as a courtesy to another organization. Please be sure to contact the foster/caretaker for more information about him.

All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

About Channing

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • Color: Silver and white
  • Current Size: 90 Pounds
  • Current Age: 14 Years 10 Months (best estimate)
  • Housetrained: Yes
Channing is a glorious example of a purebred husky in his prime. Magnificent shoulders give him a real presence wherever he goes. Always a houe dog and nicely trained for both house and crate, he adores the great outdoors, so if you like hiking, camping, or any type of outside activity, Channing would love to be right there by your side. Playing in the snow?  Channing will think he's in heaven. bounding along trails? Oh yes! His sky blue eyes will look up at you and let you know life is good. He has the typical husky failing where cats are involved, so we have to say "no" for cats, but he likes other dogs. Older kids would be fine, but he is just too much dog for young ones, who could easily get knocked down. Big, sturdy, healthy and complete with wagging tail, he is a wolf look alike inhis coloring, but in genes is all husky.
