All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Daisy might be getting older, but she still likes to play like the puppy she is at heart. She has spent her lifetime being loved and now she doesn't understand that her person has passed away and left her behind. She is hoping for someone to come again who will love her back. She is especially good with individuals with disabilites, as she is used to that, but she is really great with everyone and anyone. She loves other dogs, cats, kids. Her one failing, that keeps her from being just perfect, is that she adores food. Currently, as her owner was unable to exercise her, Daisy is somewhat overweight. She would like some walks so she can lose the extra pounds. We know just how she feels! A great dog in search of her new home, she has already learned the most important lessons of a dog's life...how to be a good girl and, of course, how to love.
A SPECIAL NOTE TO YOU FROM HER FOSTER:   DAISY is absolutely WONDERFUL.   She is housebroken, does not chew up things, is not aggressive, gets along with other dogs.  There is nothing negative to say about this senior lady.  Daisy goes out to play with dogs of all sizes but is not a real player.  She loves to be petted and be part of the group.   She also does not mind being by herself.  I would say that she is crate trained but not sure that would be necessary at all. Just spend a little bit of time with Ms. Daisy and you would fall in love with her.  She would make a perfect companion for someone who like to take daily strolls, not a runner at all.   She would do great with an older couple but gets along with children but she would not be playful enough for an active family.     Daisy has those soulful eyes that she just wants to share with someone who will love her for the rest of her life.   I have actually fallen in love with this little lady, she is just the right size to fit in any home.

Daisy is a real doll.  I would say based on her build that she has a lot of Schipperke in her.  She has a broad chest and small hind quarters
