Login to Remember your Favorite Animals and Breeds!

All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Friendly, calm and sweet, Carrie was simly born to be a good dog, a family dog. She will trot along next to you on walks with her shorter legs going double time, a smile on her face to be there, right next to you. She is so happy to be around people that her tail will wag into a blur whenever she sees you or any of your friends. Not ever hyper, she is a wonderful, easy dog to love, and one who will love you back with all her heart. She  will have a great time with you out in the backyard. Her wants are simple, her heart is boundless.
A special note to you from her foster: Friendly and sweet, Carrie loves people and will be a devoted companion to her new family. As small as she is, do not let that fool you, she is very strong and is still working on leash manners. She is moderately active and loves play time and her toys. She needs to be socialized very slowly around other dogs and will take to some and not others. She seems to do better with dogs her size or larger. She can be a bit protective of her toys and her home, therefore, should likely be an only dog or with a dog that is larger and very calm. She would not pair up with another alpha dog. Carrie is very sweet and will win your heart the first time she jumps on your lap and lays her head on your shoulder to hug. Not good with cats. She gets along best with adults. Children over 12 should be fine, also.
