Flash needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping him get a new start?

All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Flash is a special boy. He was heartworm positive and underwent treatment when he first came to the rescue. He got very sick from the treatment. It has taken him a while to recover and be his lovable self again but now he is happy and healthy.
He is a wonderful house dog, housebroken, neutered, shots up to date, and does not chew things up.

Flash says, I am really looking for a home where it is not too active and adults or respective children over 16. Flash needs time to adjust to new environments but will be a good loyal companion if you just give him time to adjust. He needs to be introduced slowly.

Flash is selective about his dog friends, he does not like for other dogs to get in his face and again slow introductions will provide him the time he needs to get acquainted and see if he can make a new friend.

He loves to play ball and will play fetch with you and then come  in and settle down while you relax too.

Flash has also had obedience training and has learned a great deal from training.

Seriously though, he really does love  people and we hope that you are the one who is willing to give him a chance at a forever home.  His only requirement is that you get lotsa balls because he is going to require lots of play time..... Remember, no cats, slow introductions to new people and dogs dogs and lotsa balls.....
