Treasure Trove of Treats!

We hope everyone enjoyed the 1,000 Lives Saved—A Celebration! DVD and Valentine’s card that was recently mailed. (If you didn’t receive one and would like a copy, please e-mail Kelly at rorrnews@gmail.com).
We couldn’t have saved all of those lives without all of YOU—our adopters, supporters, fosters, and volunteers. But we desperately need your help to save the next 1,000 lives! We’ve had some HUGE medical bills for our rescues starting in January, as well as some major electrical and fencing expenses at the foster area of one of the kennels we work with; consequently our funds are tight right now. We’re hoping we can reach our goal of raising $5000 during the Month of March, in our “Treasure Trove of Treats!” campaign. Here’s how it works:

 Yeti Yeti recently found himself homeless after his owner passed away. He is heartworm positive, and currently undergoing treatment. Yeti doesn't understand what's happening to him, and is very sad right now. |
 Bobby At only 10 months old, Bobby is ougoing and curious. He loves to curl up for a "nap in lap" and enjoys high jumping after his feather toy. He would love to have a person or family of his very own. |
 Kam This 6-month old German Shepherd Boxer mix is intelligent and eager to learn, and would be a loyal companion. He just needs someone to give him a chance! Are you that person? |
 Hugo Sweet little Hugo has been struggling with an increase in seizure activity of late and recently had to be hospitalized. His foster mom is working with the vet to help him control his seizures. |
 Colin Colin has been waiting patiently for his forever home for so many months. He is a goofy, wiggly, happy-go-lucky, typical boy dog. He loves teenagers and would be an ideal playmate and exercise mate. |
 Geronimo We recently learned this dear boy is in renal failure. He is in a wonderful hospice foster home and being well cared for. Hospice care fosters are very special people who care for animals during their final days. |
 Willow Just a tiny little kitten, Willow was found wandering next to a highway on a dark, stormy night, cold, hungry, and terrified, and was brought to RORR by a Good Samaritan. Would Willow fit into your home? |
 Suleiman Suleiman or "Sully" is a giant, magnificent dog, RORR's resident polar bear. We think he was likely abandoned and left to fend for himself. Sully is one of a kind and a dog that turns heads wherever he goes! |
 Beth Little Beth is the smallest of the kittens in her litter, and the most cautious as well. She likes to hide when it comes time for a nap, and enjoys playing with the other kitties. She would love to curl up with you! |
 Anson Handsome Anson is friendy and happy, and would love a family to call his own. Along with his brothers Remi and Henley (adopted), he lost his home when his owner was incarcerated. He would make a wonderful companion! |
 Adrienne Little Adrienne is having some serious medical complications (the vet suspects internal bleeding in her gastrointestinal tract). Please keep her in your thoughts as we try to determine the problem and help her. |
 Suze Suze is outgoing and playful, and loves to roll around on her back in the snow, making her look like she's laughing at her sister Jocelyn! She loves attention and will give you her whole heart. |
 Clancey True to his This 8-year-old Golden Retriever Mix has not had the best life. He's been mistreated (the vet found buckshot in him!) and we've just learned that he needs hip surgery. Despite his pain, this dear boy is fitting is a kind, gentle soul. |
 Pearce Pearce has been waiting so long for a home. This stunning dog (pictures don't do him justice) has gone through basic training, is housebroken, and loves people. If you're looking for the perdect family dog, look no further than Pearce! |
 Bianca Bianca is a special needs dog, but she certainly doesn't know it! Bianca's former owners turned her into the shelter because she is partially deaf. This challenge doesn't hinder her; she is a sweet, loving, wonderful girl! |
 Danny Danny is a friendly young kitty who loves to be held and cuddled--if he finds a lap he likes, he could stay in it for hours! But he loves to play too, in typical kitty fashion. He's just plain purr-fect! |
