Please Note: This animal is listed as a courtesy to another organization. Please be sure to contact the foster/caretaker for more information about him.

All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Meet JJ!

*A secure, dog-proof fenced yard is a requirement for adoption of JJ *
Thank you for your interest in JJ! He is a young dog who weighs about 60 lbs and loves other dogs. He was born in the woods as a feral pup and not taken into care until about 6 months of age so he was oh so timid with people to start. But he has made great strides! JJ will need a home with a person who is home most of the time and can spend time with him to bond. This process can take a month or more but he has bonded with his foster mom so could do so with adopters.
JJ loves other dogs so would do best in a home with another dog (or more). He’s very playful, doesn’t jump on people, and is a curious fella. He loves to follow his foster mom and dad around the house to see what they are doing.
JJ is very clean in the house and has never had an accident indoors. He sleeps either in his crate or on a dog bed. He is housetrained and crate trained.
JJ loves to play fetch and will bring the toy/ball right back and drop it at your feet! *A secure, dog-proof fenced yard is a requirement for adoption of JJ.*

Please contact JJ’s foster mom, Carol, at for questions.
