Please Note: This animal is listed as a courtesy to another organization. Please be sure to contact the foster/caretaker for more information about her.

All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Bailee is a very energetic girl.  Two years ago, kind people in Floyd, VA, rescued her from an urgent situation in Alabama.  She’s come a long way and has waited patiently for her forever home. See, Bailee doesn’t get along well with other dogs, and would be best as an only dog.  That way she will receive all your love and attention.  Also, Bailee would do best with older children. NO cats please.

Even tho we think she would be best as an only dog, she has a big heart.  One day while sniffing in her yard, another dog came up to her. Before Bailee’s foster mom knew it, both girls were in the house.  Bailee knew the other dog needed help and let her inside.  The dog Bailee saved has been adopted and Bailee hopes she will be next.

Bailee is 70 lbs, housebroken, crate trained, knows verbal and hand commands, is spayed, heartworm negative, and UTD on vaccinations.  She loves to chase a ball, chew on a bone, snuggle on the couch, and begs to go for a car ride.

If you think you have room in your heart and home for Bailee, please contact  her foster mom Denise at Ray68a@netscape.net or Debbie at janrose@swva.net.
