Please Note: This animal is listed as a courtesy to another organization. Please be sure to contact the foster/caretaker for more information about him.

All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Piggy is a Border Collie mix. Dad was border collie and mom was a lab mix. We do actually know what his parents were as he was born on a local farm sanctuary. Piggy is super friendly and great with kids and other dogs. He is playful and fun but also loves to cuddle and hang on the couch. Great leash manners, wonderfully behaved in public, and also loves to ride in the car! Piggy is NOT an escape artist like his brother and is easily contained in standard 4 ft fencing. Piggy's only vice is that he is not good with cats or other small animals like chickens or bunnies. If he can be separated from small animals this works as he does not challenge fences but he can not be trusted loose with cats or small animals.
