Please Note: This animal is listed as a courtesy to another organization. Please be sure to contact the foster/caretaker for more information about her.
All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.
NOTE- MICHELLE IS LISTED AS A COURTESY FOR ANOTHER RESCUE ORGANIZATION. PLEASE SEE CONTACT INFO BELOW.
Have you always dreamed of having a beautiful girl what you can dress in frilly things? Now you can impress your friends with a pitbull adorned in bows and lace! Michelle is a 6-8 year old pitbull terrier who weighs about 60 pounds. She is a quirky, smart and fun girl who knows what she likes....and doesn't! Michelle wants to be your only child, watch tv on your couch, and look out your window to see what she can see! She has plenty of energy to strut around the neighborhood making you look good and is calm enough to snuggle up for a weekend of Netflix and chill! She is crate trained and house trained and has excellent indoor manners!
A reduced adoption fee of $100 does apply for Michelle, our seniors, special medical and behavioral needs dogs and other "slow to adopt" dogs!
Augusta Dog Adoptions is an all- volunteer, foster- based rescue. We take applications online and are scheduling individual adoptions in the Waynesboro, VA area during the pandemic. A $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.
For more information and to apply to adopt, please visit www.augustadogadoptions.org
If you google our address, you will be directed to Richmond. That is NOT our adoption event location.
