Please Note: This animal is listed as a courtesy to another organization. Please be sure to contact the foster/caretaker for more information about him.

All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

A young man, who is a college student, reached out to Reach Out Rescue to see if we could help his family rehome their 5 year old super sweet chocolate lab, Simba. The family has had him since he was a pup. He’s healthy, neutered, and very sweet.  His family dynamic has changed and they just don't have the time to devote to Simba. This young man took care of Simba but now he’s going to college and there is no one to care for Simba. He’s a sweet guy and wants Simba to have a better home where he can get the love and attention he deserves.   Right now Simba is being left with almost no attention.  We want Simba’s next home to be a forever home and the current owner will meet any potential adopters to make sure they are the best fit.
Simba's current family is hoping to find a family with middle grade or older kids who can lavish attention on him. Simba is very very affectionate and needs a lot of love and time and exercise. He's a big dog, close to 80 pounds. Very Sweet, loves to swim and hike and play. Loves to cuddle. His current family cannot give him the time or attention he deserves.  Simba must always be on a leash when not in a fenced yard and slow introductions to other dogs is a must.
