Please Note: This animal is listed as a courtesy to another organization. Please be sure to contact the foster/caretaker for more information about him.
All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.
NOTE- KING IS LISTED AS A COURTESY FOR ANOTHER RESCUE ORGANIZATION. PLEASE SEE CONTACT INFO BELOW.
They call me Mr. Big and when I pull up in my town car and roll down the window, every lady smiles back! I’m a handsome 3-year-old, 50-pound boxer mix who is sure to steal your heart. I’m ready to be the love of your life or be a major chick magnet. You choose! And I don’t mean to brag but I’ve been told I’m a great kisser! I am an exuberant guy who loves to run in the yard and chase tennis balls. I also know when to settle down and snuggle. I have gone through a full training course and will need an adopter that continues to implement what I’ve learned. I love people and dogs and am very friendly with everyone I meet. I would be happy to live with other playful dogs but would be just as happy to be an only dog and get all the attention on me. I do need a yard to run and play. I’m working on my leash training, so a yard is helpful for me to be a hunky athlete and run. I might be a bit too friendly and excitable for little kids, so I’d prefer a home with older kids or no kids at all. Because I’m such a lover, I’ll need an adopter who is Tathome a portion of the day. I’d be too lonely if I was alone for a full workday. Someone who has experience with large dogs is best. I’m housetrained, crate trained, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. I’m basically the full package, Baby!
The adoption fee for this dog is $350 which includes routine vetting and spay/neuter.
***Please note that our first step is submitting an application (it does not commit you in any way but allows us to discuss with you if you and the dog are a good fit). In addition, an important step in approving adoption applicants is to complete a vet check. Vetting of current and past pets is very important to us, thus we will be speaking with the vet(s) listed on your application to ensure that your current and previous pet(s) are kept up to date on vaccines (including rabies), spayed or neutered, maintained on appropriate monthly preventatives and examined annually by your vet.***
