All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Corena (Sports Commentator): " Hello Nascar fans and welcome to the Race for a Forever Home! We have a lot of great dogs in the race today but just look at Robbie in the Number One car! Robbie can really get up the speed and his permanent head tilt has to give him an advantage in the turns! You know, Kathryn, some have said that his loss of hearing might slow him down but it doesn't seem like that's going to be the case today. This boy is unstoppable! He's overcome every obstacle thrown at him and has quickly become a fan favorite!
Kathryn (Sports Commentator): "He sure has, Corena. Let me tell ya, three years old, Nascar Robbie is a serious contender in this race for a forever home! His motor is running strong but his bark isn't. Maybe it's because he is deaf but he's not as loud as some of the hounds in the race today and that's going to give him an advantage. And Robbie isn't going to get distracted on the tract to stop and chew up a shoe or glove. Now, if a cat gets on that track, Corena, it may be a different story! That's one thing that could knock Robbie right out of the race! He might take after that cat and lose his focus on the grand prize. Right now, he's just going to power on, perfect his housetraining and manners, and get the attention he deserves! "
Corena (Sports Commentator): "That's right, Kathryn! You know, we see a lot of dogs in the Race for A Forever Home who has overcome amazing obstacles. Nascar Robbie was found on a rural mountain lying under a bulldozer! He was skinny and hungry and his head was tilted sideways! This boy was in no condition to race back then but a tune-up at the vet office has him at his best right now! We thought Robbie might have been hit by a speeding car but NO! Turns out he has an inner ear condition that makes him tilt his head.
The cause isn't always clear but Robbie is predicted to have a long and successful career! Thank goodness his sponsor is Highland County Humane Society! His balance is a bit off but he's fast, he's happy and he's amazing! Look, Kathryn! Here he comes around turn number three! He's heading to the finish line! Contact me to adopt Nascar Robbie and make him a winner in the Race for a Forever Home 2020!"
