Please Note: This animal is listed as a courtesy to another organization. Please be sure to contact the foster/caretaker for more information about her.

All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Dear Honey has just one favor to ask you:

Please spay your dog! Don’t let her grow up like I had to, so dragged down I could hardly walk.
Found as a hungry stray, Honey came to us with three mammary tumors, something an early spay would have prevented. Thanks to wonderfully generous donors and an extraordinary vet, Honey now lives her best life ever!
Sadly, while Honey’s healed beautifully from the removal of her tumors, one of them was malignant. This may mean she’s more at risk for future cancers.
But doesn’t a girl who’s been through so much deserve all the happiness she can get?
Sweet Honey lives to please you. She’s working on “Sit” and “Down,” but kissing your face will always be her favorite thing.
She’d probably never lived inside before, but she’s been housebroken from Day One.
And, tumor-free, nothing slows Honey down! She’d love to be your hiking buddy. And then she’ll cuddle up beside you and be quiet as a lamb.
Won’t you let Honey BEE your best friend?
This gal is 8 years young and fully vetted. She is a delight for her foster family and ready to find a family of her own.
