Please Note: This animal is listed as a courtesy to another organization. Please be sure to contact the foster/caretaker for more information about him.

All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

"Moose is a well trained dog (crate trained, e collar trained, knows commands such as sit, down, place), but needs to be in a home without kids. He is extremely loyal and sweet, though not very cuddly. He loves to be outside, but has pretty low exercise needs (we take him on one ~.5 mile walk a day and that + being outside in the yard is plenty for him). He lives with 2 cats and a dog. He gets along great with them, but is wary around new dogs but has been successfully introduced to new dogs slowly. Moose has anxiety that is well managed with medication (costs ~$10/month), but he is too anxious and uncomfortable around our daughter which is why we are rehoming. "
