All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Bumper is a 2.5-year-old Australian Shepherd mix with some curious puppy still in him.  He loves his family and his routine.  His favorite activity is to play fetch.  When the weather is nice, he’ll bring you a tennis ball to go outside and throw around with him.  He’ll bring you the ball and drop it right at your feet.  Bumper is a very cute, very sweet, little guy who loves to please.  His favorite treats are Greenies.  He also likes Bully Sticks as a special treat every once in a while.

He is crated trained and good on leash.

Bumper would like to be an only pet in the home, giving all his love to his person. Bumper has a tendency to want to fight with other dogs that are shy and/or timid.

He is also very strong with a typical breed herding instinct, so children in the new home should be at least 13 years old, unless the family is very experienced with understanding the breed.
