Brewster needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping him get a new start?

All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Brewster is a dog with a great heritage. Both goldens and labs are ideal family dogs and Brewster is hoping to carry on that tradition. He would be perfect for either an individual looking for a best friend or a family hoping for a dog to fit right in. Brewster is so young that he has just had his first birthday. Sadly, he had to celebrate in a cage without a family of his own. He would love playing in your yard with the kids and toys, running through a field with his tail wagging a mile a minute, going for walks, jogging with you, curling up by your side at night. If you would stroke his head and tell him you love him, his world would be perfect. He would love you back with all his heart and be the most loyal of dogs. Healthy, young and sturdy, he is ready to go.

UPDATE FROM HIS FOSTER; Brewster is a sweet happy boy.  He is good with other dogs.  We haven't had him with cats but I believe he would be fine as he is easy going.  When he first gets out of his run he likes to explore the kennel before going outside to potty...not sure why but this is his routine.  He really likes a little doxie girl that is boarding with us, maybe he was with a small dog in his previous home.
NEWEST UPDATE FOR OUR BREWSTER;

Brewster  is doing great. I have four dogs, and decided to try to introduce him to them one at a time. He was scared at first and running into corner, body down, so I kept these interludes short. But soon he got curious and playful, and now I can have all the dogs together . Yesterday he and two other dogs were running like mad in the yard and playing tug with a toy.

Brewster is really sweet and plush-- he feels like a puppy and has the energy of one.. he needs obedience training~

Brewster did great at the vet. He was surprisingly calm, although curious and sniffing around, wanting to go up to everyone he met.

Charmed quite a few people. When we first walked in, there was a doberman lunging and barking at us from about 15 ft away-- guy in waiting room could barely contain him-- but Brewster totally igmored him. In another part of the office, there was someone sitting with a small dog on the floor on a leash. Brewster and that dog sniffed at each other.
