All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Sweet, a little shy, loving, rather quiet...that's how Fillmore's caregiver describes him. We can add that his tail likes to wag and he is very friendly once he is familiar with his situation. He has a naturally submissive personality and this shows when he is with other dogs. He is happy to play with them, like any puppy, but he would never challenge another dog. He has the original "OK, you can be in charge" attitude. He is a wonderfully smaller size, rather like a miniature lab, so he will be a good fit for nearly any home. Very young still, he is ready to see the world at your side. He wants very much to please his person, so he will work for love. Treats are a nice addition, though! He told us not to forget to tell you he would like treats. A perfect companion and family dog in the making, that's Fillmore!
A SPECIAL NOTE TO YOU FROM HIS FOSTER: Fillmore is a great dog, but he's a little needy, likes to be around his people,  and he's high energy. He would do best with someone who could give him plenty of exercise. He is not a noisy dog.
