My Foster Story

I began fostering about 3 years ago, when my beloved dog passed away and I was sure I never wanted to go through that again. My neighbors took in a foster and after some research I decided to give it a try. It opened up a whole new world to me that I never knew existed. I've learned more about dogs than I thought possible. Yes, it's hard to give them up, but when you see the excitement of the adoptive families you know you've done something good. Not only are you saving a dog's life, you're helping people find a new friend to make their lives complete. I've met so many wonderful people who share my love of animals, and I couldn't give it up for anything.

Of course I adopted my second foster, but that's OK! We were made for each other.
