Spencer needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping him get a new start?

All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

PROJECT SAVING SPENCER: Sweet and gentle Spencer has spent all 4 years of his life so far not knowing what it's like to have enough food, a soft place to rest, or someone to love him, but his spirit of kindness has stayed strong, because he knew you were out there, and he has waited for you through these long years. In rescue now, he is truly grateful for the food in his bowl and the caring hands that are teaching him what it feels like to be petted. Good with other dogs, Spencer is hoping you will show him what it is like to be loved and cherished. What you will get back will be breath taking...total devotion of this wonderful, grateful dog. His lab genes are strong, making him friendly and oh so easy to love. Currently, he is putting on some much needed weight and feeling better every day. We can' t wait to see what he will do when he gets his first toy! What will be the first things you will show him in the world? Everything beautiful will be new and wondrous to him! Watching him blossom will be an amazing experience!
