Learn more about the Cocker Spaniel.

All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Clarence is just a baby, at only 12 weeks old, but he has surely had a tough start. When we found him, he was wearing such a tight harness that it had embedded itself into his skin. Poor baby! The offending harness was removed by a great vet and now our little guy is healing well. He is hoping for a person or family who will take better care of him than his first try at love. He is a sweet boy, all soft and fluffy, ready to learn what you want him to do and he will try his hardest to do it. He is great with other dogs and would love his own yard in which to romp and play. He IS a puppy! He will play hard, and then nap. We have gotten him all ready for you, with all his shots and a complete vetting. If you add love on your side of the mix, Clarence will love you back for a lifetime, with interest!
NOTE: Clarence surely has hybrid vigor to the max! We ran a DNA test on him and there are so many dogs in his genes that it almost ran off the page! There is a mix of terriers, chow, cocker spaniel, collie, and a huge variety of herding dogs. Some might say"Mutt"! We say Clarence! If it's true that mixes live longer and healthier, then our boy should live to be 100!
