All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Todd is a quiet, calm, laid back little Jack Russell terrier.  Yes, you read that right, a Jack Russell who is calm and peaceful. A really cute little guy who will NOT be bouncing off the walls. Although he is older, he enjoys going on nice walks, will trot around the backyard, but mostly is going to enjoy sitting near you and watching the seasons go by, right there by your side, a friend, who every now and then will lick your hand and look up at you, clearly saying "I love you." He has been loved all his life, so he knows exactly how that part goes, but sadly, his person is passing away, so he is searching for a home where he will once again be safe and cared for. He is fine with other dogs, and is even cool with cats. If you are interested in a dog who will be happy sitting next to your lawn chair, or watching TV with you in the evening, you have just found our Todd. He will be perfect for you. He is up on all his shots and vet checked.
A SPECIAL NOTE TO YOU FROM HIS FOSTER: Right now Todd is very frightened after being taken away from the only person and home he has ever known. Sadly, his person is not going to have much longer on this earth and Todd does not understand why he can't be with her and keep loving her. He arrived at the foster home really upset. After some time, his  foster says she can pet him now and has had some licks.  He's great on a leash, sits and is improving every moment.
He's going to need a patient loving home to help him back to the good boy described by his owner.
