All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Suzi is a lady looking for love and a home.  At only 2 years old, she has her whole life ahead of her to love you back with all her big, boxer heart. She is a  full bred boxer whose owner could not afford her care and was given away to a neighbor.  Turned out the neighbor took even worse care of her so the original owner would take her back from time to time as she was able. Poor Suzi has not had a great start in life.  Suzi has been fully vetted.  She is crate trained, house trained  and does not have accidents in her crate.  She is a cautious girl who startles to new noises but recovers quickly.  She lived with other dogs and children  She is a calm and seemingly low energy girl who enjoys other calm, or submissive dogs.  She does not like reactive, in your face type high energy dogs.  She walks well and slowly on leash.  She does not appear to have a high prey drive and I would guess that she would be good with cats although I have not had the opportunity to cat test her. We will be cat testing her soon. If you like the Boxer breed, Suzi is going to make you a wonderful dog.
