Hopeful needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping her get a new start?

All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

You can see it in her eyes. More than anything in the world Hopeful wants a person or family to call her own. She wants to show them how much she can love them and what a really good dog she is. A great, medium sized dog and a settled adult, she already knows how to do many things you are going to like a lot. She is already crate trained, for example, and knows how to live in a house. Her personality is somewhat laid back and she would be perfect for a quieter home. She would like to go on long walks with you in provate areas and have a backyard with a privacy fence where she can stretch out in the sun and sometimes play peacefully with her toys.

Hopeful needs to be introduced to new people very slowly and in a neutral setting is much better for her. She is very slow to make up with new people and can be unpredictable. We are requesting a home with no children under 12 and even then only respectful children.

Hopeful plays a little too rough with cats, so should go to a home with no cats. Hopeful takes time to adjust and was living in foster homewith two senior dogs and she gets along most of the time, however, she has been introduced to dogs outside of the home and she has not really enjoyed being around them so she would enjoy being an only dog. She also prefers slow introductions to new people and places.
