Chickory needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping her get a new start?

All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

I can hear you now! See my big, beautiful ears? I am only a puppy at 4 months old and I am hoping to be the best dog I can be, if only someone will show me what they want me to do. I am really, really smart and so very much want to be called "Good Girl!"
Chickory is such a great little girl. Although we can see her shepherd heritage, dad must have been much smaller. She is going to be a mini-shep! We are guessing she will end about 45 lbs. at most. While you watch her grow up, you will notice what a friendly, outgoing temperament she has. Her foster says "This sweet young girl is all play and loves everyone. " Chickory is going to be a wonderful family dog and best friend. She has such a loyal heart. We can see her romping with the kids in the backyard, going on hikes, jogs, long walks, attending soccer games, really, anything active she is going to love. She will be right by your side, encouraging you to jog just a little bit further, to hike another mile. As a very young dog, she is eager to learn from her person. We are sure she will have no trouble at all hearing you. She has those traditional shepherd ears that catch a pin drop. If you are looking for fun, Chickory is ready!
NOTE: We are requiring a physical fence for Chickory to keep her safe.
