Bruin needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping him get a new start?

All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

It's a tiger, it's a dog, no, it's Bruin! The advocate from the shelter where we got Bruin raved at how sweet he is.  He was surrendered by his owner who just could not take care of him anymore.  With his only 40 lb. size, he is on the smaller side of medium.

Bruin has not been able to be in a foster home because he is very selective about his animal friends, otherwise the kennel team says he is a good boy and is friendly to all the women there. There are some fear issues with men.

Bruin just needs a chance to be loved and trust again, if you have a quiet home with no other animals Bruin might be the dog for you !

Bruin is not good with cats and he would have to meet any potential dog friend for compatibility.
