Skipper needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping him get a new start?

All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Skipper didn't have the best start in life and was found scrounging for bits of food to eat in a trailer park. He was so grateful to be taken to a shelter where there was a bed, food, and he was no longer cold. He did not know that his time was limited there and in a few days he very well could be killed just because there were so many dogs. The staff there fell in love with him and didn't want to see him die needlessly, so they reached out to our rescue to see if this staff favorite could be given a chance at life. And finally, it happened for Skipper! Rescue was there for him and now you can enjoy this wonderful, friendly dog in YOUR life. His track record says he is good with other dogs, children, and even cats. He always wants to be a good boy and tries his hardest to do what you ask him to do. He will be such fun to teach him what you want out of your perfect dog. This happy boy is hoping for a family of his own who he can love with all his heart. It's just in his nature to love. He will be so grateful for anything you do for him, from giving him food, to a soft place to lie down, but especially a pat on the head and the feeling that he will get to live a long life with those who he loves and who love him back. He is ready to play in your yard, go for walks, and be your best friend forever and always.
