All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

In the first few years of life Shakespeare has not been treated well by humans, but he has a very sweet natural temperament and once he understands that you are different from other people he has often met, he will simply blossom with happpiness. His foster says  " He is a sweet boy who will need time to learn that you mean him no harm.  He has been good with all the other dogs he has met." He dreams about having a family of his own who will love him as much as he will love them back. He would be happier than he could even imagine to have  a yard to safely play in and someone to take him on walks, where he can smell all the great scents and wag his tail in delight that such a wonderful thing is happening to him. If you like your dogs long and low and want to show Shakespeare that humans can be gentle, then do come visit him and see for yourself what a good boy could be all yours.
NOTE: Shakespeare says he believes in full disclosure and wants you to know that his foster discovered a small lump on his tummy when she got him and when he went to the vet it was taken off. It turned out to be a very low grade cancer and now it's ALL GONE! Just a tiny scar to remind him of a scarey day at the vet. But he likes to look toward the future and not at the past, so now that he is safe and sound, he is ready to start really living his whole young life with joy that a careful foster found his problem when it was small and gave him a wonderful future to look forward to. He hopes you come soon so he can get started loving you.
