Please Note: This animal is listed as a courtesy to another organization. Please be sure to contact the foster/caretaker for more information about her.

All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Siren is a glorious, fun-filled, happy, young dog, combining the high intelligence of her mom, the Border Collie, with the amazing loyalty of her dad, a Shepherd. We have an exceptionally smart dog who looks like a Border Collie, but got her size from her father. A very big Border Collie! She loves to play and can learn absolutely anything the first time around. She loves to play and play and play. Her agility capabilitiy is just off the charts. She can jump anything in an obstacle course with ease. The only thing better than play is stretching her legs and sweeping around the yard in big circles. She will be happiest in a large yard and with adventures to parks, fields, long vigorous walks, jogs, runs. In short, an active individual or a family will be her perfect match. She will be right there beside you, no matter what it is you like to do. Hiking and camping would be her dream job. She was raised with children and loves them. If you need to entertain the kids for hours on end, Siren would be the ideal candidate. She is already house trained and "family ready". She loves attention and we can say her tail wags nearly all the time. She loves all people and is friendly with other dogs. She is a dream girl!
SPECIAL NOTE: For obvious reasons, she will need a high fence if you live in the city. She considers an average fence part of the newest obstacle course. And the more companionship she gets, the better. Give her a job, even better many jobs, and she won't let you down. That amazing brain of hers needs something to do!
A SPECIAL NOTE TO YOU FROM HER FOSTER: She's always been very docile and submissive around people and other animals. Even when another dog is bothering her, she just walks away.
