Bubba needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping him get a new start?
All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Bubba has all the beloved Lab characteristics that have made this breed the number one choice for a family dog/companion over the last 20 years. He is missing only one: the "look at me, play with me now" gene. He is a calm, loving Labrador! His foster says "Bubba was taken to the shelter when his owner went into assisted living. He is a sweet boy who is shy with a calm, gentle temperament." He is only 6 years old, so he should have a nice long life in front of him to show off his loving skills for you, but he seems to have a senior dog outlook on life. Perhaps it comes from living with an older individual all his life, but whatever it is, you get the benefit. Bubba will be a great dog for a family hoping for an easy dog to have and to love. He never wants to be any trouble and will always try his best to do what you ask of him. Bubba is the definition of a "good dog!"
