All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

If you like the calmness and wisdom of an older dog, you will find Sugar just about perfect. She has had a lifetime of living and learning to be a wonderful family dog. Abandoned by her family just because she was no longer a frisky puppy, she is a true gem. Her foster says of her " Sugar is a sweet girl who has been good with other dogs and has lived with young kids and cats. " She takes life as it comes and always tries to do her best to make her people happy with her. She is easy to have and even easier to love. She still enjoys going for nice walks, but they don't have to be so long anymore, or so full of excitement. Sugar will teach you to stop and smell the roses!
