Buddy Boy needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping him get a new start?

All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

If you are looking for a calmer dog, you have found him in Buddy Boy. Amazingly, he is also young! His foster says of him "He is pretty laidback, but still likes to play. He is a smart dog, knows some basic commands. He wants to learn." Sounds like the definition of the perfect family dog to me. He has been great with the dogs and cats he has met and is all around a simple, friendly guy. He's a good, solid, sturdy boy, too. He would be proud to be on the end of the leash as you walked him and would have a great time in your backyard, entertaining everyone, including himself. Buddy Boy is going to make such a good companion. He's got the whole package that says "family dog".
A SPECIAL NOTE TO YOU FROM HIS FOSTER: His web page describes him as being calm, which he can be, but he is also energetic and would do well with longer walks and other forms of exercise. I think that he would be great for a person or family that is active and looking for a dog that can keep up with them.
Buddy may be too strong for smaller dogs when he begins to play it may be too rough.
