Athena needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping her get a new start?
All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Athena is a beauty, inside and out. Her foster simply raves about her. Here is what she says..."Athena is a well behaved loving girl. She learned quickly to sit for treats she will not jump on you unless you invite her too. I tested her on cats and she just walked away from them. She has an adorable way of looking at you – her head is tilted down but her eyes are on you, looking up. She absolutely loves attention. She will sit with you and lay her head on your lap and lay like that for hours if you let her. She walks very well on a leash, rides well in a car, and most importantly, is potty trained. I have three other labs and she is not one bit bothered by them. She has been around five year old’s and she just loves the attention she gets from them. I believe she would be a great addition to any family – with or without children or pets. She is just a one in a million!
