All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Burley is truly a Mutt, his DNA is a combo of Great Pyrenees, Chow, Lab, Boxer, Terrier, Bulldog!!! He is 13 months old and looking for a family that can give him a great deal of exercise. A large fenced yard would be his dream. A family that is active and likes hiking, outdoor activities and wants to have the company of a furry best friend along would be heaven for him. 

Burley is affectionate, playful and loves being with his people. He is very loyal to those in his home. He loves to snuggle, especially in the evenings.

He is very young and active and will need obedience training to help him through his puppy behaviors. He has had some training but limited due to Covid. He likes to play with other dogs but does not understand their cues when they have had enough. A training class will make a difference for him, where he can learn dog signals. 

Burley is somewhat protective of his people and will bark and growl at strangers. He is under the impression that he his keeping his people safe. 

Burley's ideal home would be a family that is very active and maybe older children for him to run and play. He will need obedience training and a fenced in yard would be preferred.

Burley should have children older than 8.  No cats in the home for our boy.  He is such a beautiful dog and has so much potential. Perhaps you are the person he has been looking for all of his short life?
