All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Cooper is a lovely& fun stub-nosed little dude! He loves to snuggle on the sofa as much as he enjoys going on walks. He’s a chill guy, not hyper at all. He walks great on the leash. And he seems housetrained! He will lobby hard to be allowed to sleep in bed with you but he’s a great bed companion. Just curls up contentedly and doesn’t budge until the morning. Oh, and he’s in no hurry to get up either. This is not a dog that will make you start your day before you want to! He rides great in the car, hops right in and is ready to go explore the world! He’s done great with all the dogs he’s met. And I believe he’s lived with a cat in his previous life. The groomer absolutely loved him – said Cooper was a perfect gentleman through-out the whole loooong process (Cooper was pretty matted and overdue for a groom when he came into the rescue.) Being a small dog, Cooper can be a bit nervous about being grabbed and picked up, so I think very young kids would stress him. He’ll be a great companion for somebody!
