Butter is a sweet, shy little guy. A Chiweenie, he totally has the body of his dachshund mama and the head of his chihuahua daddy. Guaranteed to make you giggle! He has been living with other dogs and cats and has done well with them. His deepest hope is to become somebody's special little boy. Quite small, at only 12 lbs. , another bequest from dad, he will fit easily into your arms. He would so enjoy playing with his small toys in your livingroom and trotting around your backyard. At only 3 years old, he is still young and should have many, many years of his life to love you with all his heart. He has never really had a family of his own, so all that love is saved up in his tiny body, ready for YOU!

Butter is somewhat hesitant when meeting ne people.  Once he's had a chance to warm up, he is super friendly, outgoing, and affectionate. He seems partially house-trained, and is excellent with dogs, cats, men, women, and young people. He's a total lap dog.  He's basically a perfect dog,
NEWEST UPDATE FOR YOU: Butter is a dream dog! He's 100% house-trained, happy, calm, great with all people once he has had a chance to warm up, dogs (and maybe cats?), smart, and super affectionate and cuddly. He loves sitting on laps, cuddling in his people's beds, or just hanging out. Bonds quickly and enjoys being with his family every moment possible. Very sweet and easy 

NOTE FROM HIS FOSTER:  Butter would do best in a home with another dog for companionship.  Also, he needs a yard with a physical fence.
