All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

If Twyla could speak, she would say "Just cuddle me!" She is a dog whose goal in life is to be held.

Twyla is small and likes to be around her human. She will adore her person and give them lots of love. She would do best in a home with one person and no other animals, she likes her human all for herself. IT would also be best if the home does not have many visitors because this will scare Twyla and she will not be comfortable. She would love it if her new home had a stay at home or work from home person so she can feel safe. She has some anxiety when left alone.

She walks well on a leash, bit sometimes she is still fearful of the outside and she needs someone with patience to help her trust again.

She has been well crate trained and thinks of her crate as her safe space. When uncomfortable, there she goes, right in her little door. If you are looking to add a new small baby to your life, Twyla would be your girl.
