Login to Remember your Favorite Animals and Breeds!

All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Hi, my name is Cricket! I am approximately 11-12 years old. My life has not been very good.  Between over-breeding, neglect,  abandonment, and some abuse at the hands of my previous people, I need a break. I decided to make a bucket list of what my perfect home would be:
1. My first wish is a calm, older adult home. I can't really deal with any noise or craziness at this age.
2.  I would love a really cushy bed, or my human's bed will do too!
3.  I have quite the appetite for everything I smell! In my previous life I never knew where my next meal was coming from, so I do not want to worry anymore about food.  Two or three small meals a day would be great. My teeth are ground down from gnawing on that horrible crate I was confined to. That has not stopped me though- I am eating four small meals a day now to gain some weight back and that is going very well.  With good medicine, my hair is growing back too.
4.  I need to go out around every three hours to potty. I don't always tell you because my bladder is not what it used to be so a schedule is probably good. My Foster mom has piddle pads down just in case.
5.  Having a fenced yard would be wonderful! I do not really want to be confined to a leash. I spent most of my life in a crate so no more holding this girl back. Running around free in a fenced yard with you by my side is what I would love.

I am not much work - I like to sleep a lot. Feed me, let me out to potty, and love me and I will be your best friend for life.

NOTE: She was brought in with another dog named Duke, so we know she does get along with other dogs.
