All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

This good boy wants a home more than you could ever imagine. And he is a GOOD boy, too. He is going to make a wonderful family dog/best friend. So young still that he is barely out of puppyhood. That makes him ready to learn what you want him to know. He is very smart, so if you show him what you want, he will do his very best to do it for you. He so much wants to be loved. His temperament is friendly and from his shepherd side he gets exceptional loyalty. He has never had a chance to give his heart away...you will be his first and his forever. He has had all his shots and been completely vetted. All he needs now is you. He is waiting patiently.

Note from his foster:  Tom is currently working with a trainer and the new adopter will  need to continue with this after adoption.  He is going to need a big backyard with a physical fence where he can run and play safely.   A more rural area would be better for our boy, rather than urban.  He is frightened of cars and trucks going by as he is walked.  Tom would love a home with another dog.  No children under the age of 12 in the home, since he can be a bit nippy and mouthy while playing.   Tom is working hard with his trainer, so he will be ready for his forever home.
