All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.
Still really a puppy, Pandy is only 10 months old. She has her whole life in front of her to love you with all her heart. And what a little angel she is! Her foster says : "She is a sweet girl with a sweet temperament." Not too big, not too small, she is just right! Her little tail wags nearly all the time and more than anything in the world she wants to be a good girl. She is very eager to do what you ask her to do so she can see you are pleased with her. She would love to play in your backyard, go for walks, and learn tricks. She is really smart and in no time would be shaking hands, rolling over, even bowing. Do know that she will chase a cat, so probably not a good idea to have a cat roommate. She has been completely vetted and has all her shots.
From Pandy's foster: Pandy is going to need to complete a positive reinforcement basic manners program. Also, no very young children for this rambunctious girl. Kids a bit older who are dog savvy will be considered. We don't know what her life was like before she came to safety in rescue, but we do know she is easily frightened. She cannot live in an apartment setting as every noise triggers anxiety ridden behavior in her: Panting, Pacing, Barking, etc. • When walking, she is often scared by the sights and sounds and other dogs. It is not an aggressive behavior but more of "I'm afraid of everything" and am protecting my person by trying to scare people and dogs away. It breaks our heart to see her so frightened of things like bags blowing in the street, sudden movements, etc. • She does enjoy playing with other dogs. A home with a fenced in backyard to help her burn off some of her puppy energy would be perfect. This sweet girl will require someone with patience, someone who will respect her triggers and help her work through them or avoid them. Her perfect adopter would be someone with a house in rural area with a fenced in yard • No children under 14 • Possibly another dog in the household to play with and make her feel more seccure• Someone who is not gone all day • Pandy is smart, mostly housetrained, and is loving when all of the other triggers aren't causing her anxiety. This adorable little girl so very much wants someon to help her be the good girl she was meant to be. Could you be her angel?
