Please Note: This animal is listed as a courtesy to another organization. Please be sure to contact the foster/caretaker for more information about him.

All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

This handsome youngster is Galileo.  He is solid black and his fur is sleek and smooth.  He loves to sit on your lap and be petted and stroked, but does not like to be picked up - it scares him.  His "kittenhood" has not been very happy and being chased and cold and hungry was very hard on him until he met his foster mom.  He found out that living in a house is fantastic and he now enjoys playing and being around people who are good to him. He also is good with other cats and dogs.

Galileo had had all of his vaccines and tested negative for Feluk/FIV and has been neutered.  The only thing missing now is his very own family.

For more information, please call Beth at 304-707-1180.
