Young, quite small, SO bright, friendly, and ready to learn whatever you want him to, Ruger is hoping to please you with every wag of his tail. His sparkling eyes will look up at you with so much intelligence, you will probably find yourself talking to him and we bet he will understand every word. Ruger is going to be able to learn the basics in a snap and go on to post graduate work like bringing you a paper or running an agility course. We may have to draw the line at working the daily crossword puzzle, but with Ruger you can't be sure. This wonderful family dog/best friend has it all going for him. He's even shown himself to be good with other dogs and cats. And so small that he can easily sit on your lap. When you come to meet him, bring a leash, because you are going to fall in love at "Hello little guy" and want to take him home to be all yours.  Ruger would do best with another dog in the home to play with that is his size or a little bigger.  He is crate trained and does well on a leash. Ruger loves to be held and cuddled. He sleeps in the human bed at night.   Ruger is very active, so he needs to go to a family who is very active with a good size fenced yard.   He would not do well in an apartment or townhouse.
