All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

See my tail blur in my picture? That's because I'm a happy dog and I love people! My foster says I am very, very sweet, too, and I am good with other dogs. . I wag my tail A LOT! I am going to be a super family dog and best friend. I am always up for fun and I think anything YOU want to do is fun! I am friendly and outgoing, just the sort of guy you want to invite to your next backyard BBQ, take to the kids soccer game, or romp with in the backyard. I am SO easy to like. I really enjoy outdoor activities with my people, so if you are the outdoorsy type, we are a match! Camping? Walks in the woods? Hiking? I am there.
Special Note TO YOU FROM HIS FOSTER: So Logan is doing very well. He has the best temperament, he seems to love everyone human and 4 legged, he loves to play with other dogs but is also ready to lounge on the dog bed and be perfectly content. He loves attention. He just wants someone to pet him, he loves to be loved! He doesn’t get too excited about much. He seems ok on leash(doesn’t pull even when he sees other dogs), only barks when put in the crate initially and when he is playing rough. He sleeps all night in my bed and loves every second. He is slow to get up in the morning. He does jump up but he is so gentle it’s almost like he is giving you a hug.  He loves bones. He hoarded all of them on the bed where he was laying as soon as he got here but doesn’t seem to have a problem sharing. We are working on house training. !He would probably do best in a home with another dog or someone who will be around other dogs or parks so he can play and learn from them. Younger children would probably be ok also as he isn’t very high energy.

11-14-21/ An update from his foster:
We have had Logan for several months now and the boy has made lots of progress!  When he came to us, we suspect he was left in his crate for very long periods of time, and was never properly housebroken.  He is now quite used to going outside and is having very few accidents in the house.  I believe that if our yard was fenced, he might be completely house-broken by now.
Logan is going to be a great companion for a family who wants a family dog.  He adores his humans and wants to be around them. Logan is working on what it means to have personal space-in other words, your space is his space, your lap is his lap, your trip to the kitchen is his trip to the kitchen! If you want a cuddle-bug, best friend, good with dogs and kids alike, Logan is the perfect dog for you and your family.
