All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Norma is not one of those lucky dogs who has had a great start in life. She is afraid of many things, as her people simply put her in a pen in the backyard and left her. She desperately wants to be part of a family, but this sweet girl will need someone to introduce her to love slowly, so she can take it all in. She is a smart dog, so her potential is enormous and you could be the one who would show her how truly wonderful life can be with love and caring in it. She is progressing nicely in foster and is in wonder at gentle hands, food in her bowl, and a soft place to lay down. She would do anything to give you her heart, and she is trying hard and succeeding! to overcome her miserable time in the pen. Perhaps you will be the angel she is waiting for.

Norma needs a home where someone will give her whatever time she needs to settle in and this could be months or even longer. She needs to be allowed to learn to trust on her own without pressure to be cuddly or a full member of the family until she is ready.
She has made progress to sit near her foster and even take a little food, but she is not ready to allow some to touch.

Norma must have a secure fenced yard to keep her safe until she learns to trust.

Are you the family that is willing to give this girl a chance.
