A very sweet and loving dog, Missy has an overwhelming desire to please and will do her best to make you happy. She seems to like other dogs and would enjoy playtime with friends. She is somewhat nervous of passing cars and is underweight, probably both remnants of her time without a home. She could very well have been dumped. With a stable person on the other end of the leash who cares for her, the car fear should dissipate. We are already putting good groceries into her and believe 50 lbs. should be her ideal weight. Since she is a hound, and has such an amazing nose that will follow a great scent anywhere,  we will require a physical fence to keep her safe. Wait until you see her playing happily in your backyard, ears flapping in the breeze as she runs and nose to the ground. Missy is in the prime of her life and ready to join a family. She is waiting patiently for you to come for her. We have made sure she is ready to go and have had her seen by a vet, given all her shots, and made sure she is up to date!
