Login to Remember your Favorite Animals and Breeds!

All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Cleopatra (we call her “Cleo”)  was brought into our rescue group along with 3 of her litter mates at the age of 4 months old. They were terrified, as they were taken away from their mom at an early age and left at the shelter in TN until our Rescue group (Reach Out Rescue & Resources – RORR) came along and transported all the puppies to Maryland. They were all placed in various foster homes. Looking to adopt a foster pup?  Look no further!

The foster mom for Cleo describes her as developing into a more confident sweet little girl. She currently weighs 23lbs and is likely to max out at around 35-lbs. She just LOVES LOVES LOVES other dogs...  Cleo is now 9 months old. She is crate trained, and she walks nicely on a leash. She takes time to adjust to new people and will give off a little bark but is NOT at all an aggressive dog.  She is sweet, and will settle very well. Once she learns to trust that you will keep her safe, she will be the best companion.  She settles well, sleeps all through the night, and can be left home alone easily without any issues in her crate.

Her ideal home will have a fenced yard, and another young playful dog to hang out and play with. NO young children as she is a little weary of them, although I think over time she would and could grow to feel safe with them.  She is up to date on all vaccinations and is spayed.
