All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Sasha is very, very thin and in desperate need of a foster.. she is so stressed and scared from all she has been through and should not be sitting in a kennel. Please if you can foster this girl, contact us immediately!  Her owner died and then the home was foreclosed.. she and her friend Diamond were put in shelter.. Diamond is with another group and ROR is trying to help Sasha so she would not be left behind.

Sasha is a German shepherd with loooong legs. She is such a graceful dog. Reminds us of those sleek hunting dogs painted on Egyptian tomb walls. But oh, does she have that German shepherd heart. She is all loyalty. She got the intelligence, too, from that side of her family. She wants to please and learns very quickly. She is great with other dogs and, in fact, has lived with another dog all her life. If you are looking to add another dog to your family, Sasha would be a perfect companion.   This elegant gazelle of a dog would also be a wonderful running partner. Just in the prime of her life, she could lope along beside you forever. We promise you will be panting before she even gets warmed up! Not a runner? She would be happy with walks, too. Mostly, she would be happy to just be with you and do whatever you want to do. Sturdy and healthy, she is ready to give you her heart and her life.

Sasha is very confused and scared right now.. she has gone through so many changes...so for this reason, we'd prefer that she go to a more quiet home, no children and someone who is patient and can work with her to restore her confidence. She also would do well with another dog. She has been diagnosed with EPI and will require a high quality dog food and special enzymes for the rest of her life.
