All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

This honey of a dog is a sweetheart, with a soft coat the color of really good salt water taffy, or perhaps, the luscious caramel centers of expensive chocolates. A delicious combination of Golden retriever genes, for sunny personality, and German shepherd contributions of legendary loyalty, and you have a dog who will be totally devoted to you. Ready to go for walks on the end of your leash, play in your yard with happiness, and curl up near you each evening, this young dog has his whole life and love to give to a family or individual. He is hoping to be all yours.

Sketch is a very loving and intelligent dog.  He loves to play with other dogs,toys and LOVES to play fetch.  He is an all around fun dog to be around.  Sketch is slow to warm up to men but once he realizes they mean no harm he is forever committed.  He settles into new scenarios quite easily after just a few days.  He is completely housetrained, loves other dogs and cats and kids.  He will have to be placed in a forever home where the children are over the age of 8, due to his size.  He already knows many commands such as sit, down, paw, stay and leave it.  Sketch still needs to learn to walk on a leash pulling so much.  This is a dog that you could take hiking or to the park or just sit back and relax with him.
